Description
The 70th Tank Battalion did not have a parent division; however, it was attached to the 4th Infantry Division. Both 70th Tank Battalion and 4th Infantry Division fought from North Africa, Sicily Italy, part of Italy’s mainland, Normandy Beachhead in France, and into cities of Germany up until the war ended.
